"O for a muse of fire!"
No sooner had Will penned this thrilling line for the second act of his new play, than a puff of smoke filled the Globe Theatre and a muffled pop!-rather like the sound of an indifferent Italian wine coming uncorked-echoed through its empty galleries. "You called?" "God's teeth!" Will cried, jumping to his feet. "Goldie!" "Surprised to see me, boychik?" "Indeed," he gasped, placing a hand over his pounding heart. Recovering himself slightly, he added. "'Tis been so long, I began to think thou hadst shuffled off this mortal coil."
