The film credits started to roll and Jane got up to leave, as did the most of the three hundred or so patrons who had paid eight bucks each to see the latest Hollywood blockbuster. "What did you think?" Peter asked over her shoulder. High priced disappointment, she thought and groped in the dark behind her and clasped Peter's hand. "I'll tell you when we get out of here," she whispered behind her. "That bad, huh?" Jane made it to the end of the row with Peter in tow, after clambering over two assholes who refused to move until they had seen every one of the people who had been involved in the film, including the guy who walked the director's dog. As soon as Jane stepped into the aisle, she was whisked away with the crowd and lost her grip on Peter's hand. Jane snapped her head around to find Peter. She caught a glimpse of him, stuck at the end of the row waiting for a gap in the human traffic, as unseen hands forced her forward. He mouthed to her, "See you outside."
