"How fortunate for you that my arrival on station is so timely," Sheldon Houseman said, his accent Oxford crisp, voice dripping with condescension. "I, of course, will be glad to help you capture Mr. Lloyd." His eyebrows arched regally and he offered a smile like a prince tossing a coin to a pauper.
I don't know who I hated more--Jack Lloyd, "the greatest criminal mind of the 24th century," according to the vids, or Sheldon Houseman, "the greatest detective of all time," according to the same vids. Both were pompous asses, if you ask me. But I'm only a station security chief, a working class grunt, not educated dirtside at Oxford like these two were, not fawned over by the media, one like Robin Hood, the other like Sherlock Holmes. So don't ask me. I'd as soon blow one away as the other.
