eBook Description: Banned Adult Humor Recording from the 1960's! A classic performance by sexy chanteuse Terri "Cup Cake" O'Mason. Back in the less enlightened of era of the 1930s-60 the routines of nightclub and stage comedians like Jack Benny and Bob Hope were just as risque as that of the comedians of today -- and their work was just as filled with double entendres and sexual innuendo. But when they went on the radio or made an audio recording of their routines comedians were banned from using what was then called "blue" humor--and what was presented to the wider public was a squeaky-clean, highly-sanitized version of their true work. Some comic's material, however, like that of the late Red Foxx, Rusty Warren, and Terri "Cupcake" O'Mason was so scatological in nature that it couldn't be cleaned up and had to be released by "underground" record labels that had to remain so far beneath the radar to avoid arrest that they practically went out of business as soon as they had sprung up, typically releasing a handful of albums--sometimes only one--before folding and disappearing quietly into the night. Thus spotty and regional distribution (often through adult bookstands) was the rule, and pressings rarely exceeded 5000-10,000 copies, rendering the surviving copies rarer than hen's teeth today. Such an album was "Adam's Stag Party," the second album in a short lived series of records released by the Los Angeles-based men's magazine Adam, and likely distributed mostly on the West Coast. It is a classic example of adult comedy recordings of the 1950's and 60's! Henry Lowengard on the back of the record jacket raved that the album was "Wild, funtastic, risque ... the best party record of its type ever made... In nightclubs, critics have gone wild for the O'Mason ditties, but her torrid tales of fun and frolic on record brings a brand of sexitement that goes a good cut beyond the entertainment of the sophisticated bistro. Terri is hotter than a firecracker, the best in her business, and a guaranteed sensation for your party or personal pleasure." Among the best of the songs included on this rare album is "My First Piece" whose title double entendre barely hints at the heights of zaniness which Terri "Cupcake" O'Mason wrings out of this delightful routine. Her girlish, yet worldly-wise delivery undoubtedly brought down the house everywhere it was performed. This is the kind of recording that would have been described as "under the counter" when it was first released. Few were made and few still exist today. But you can now hear this rare and comedic treat from "under the counter" of SIZZLER AUDIO! (time 1:54) [PUBLISHER WARNING: Contains explicit lyrics and language!]
